Stories!

I like magic.
I am DEFINITELY only going to do this once a year. ^_^; I so don't feel like writing anymore right now. Certainly not editing.. which brings me to something else: these are all unedited save for two, because I can't type well right now. Links were posted in the original thread, but since these were all way too long to fit in replies, I'm going to post them here, too.

+ A Gesture of Appreciation
For K'arthur: Iksay bestows a mighty gift upon two of Zexen's Great Knights. (Based on Suikoden III.)

+ Hollow Wind
For Rune Grey: Ice leaves its poison long after it has gone, but even the deepest of colds cannot endure forever. Sarah and Luc, after the Water Seal. Mild (very mild) lemon. (Based on Suikoden III.)

Rune, you're getting the link via page mail. It should not be up for public consumption, unless someone can convince me otherwise. It's easy to find, though, if you're determined. ^^

+ The Missing Star
For Nuri: In a field of flowers, Sasarai finds something other than fear for the mysterious, child-like teleportress. (Based on Suikoden III.)

+ Forgiveness
For Nyuna: Two lost children find in each other a kindred spirit on a pier in Nisan. (Based on Xenogears.)

+ Orchideous
For Shadra: I broke my own rule for this one. Sarah, Luc, and Sasarai struggle through an exasperating practice session. (Crossover based on Suikoden III and Harry Potter.)

[info]kytha, [info]fanaticalone - I started your stories, but I did something to my hand while doing my laundry for the trip, so I'm not going to do anymore typing than I have to. I will take the files with me on a disk and post them here as soon as they're finished - hopefully by the end of the weekend at the latest.

I'm really sorry about that. I was going to stay up and work on them, but after what happened with my foot, I'm wary of pushing any injury, even if it seems minor.

Happy holidays and... stuff. Time to sleep. Looooooong trip coming up today.

I've never played Suikoden III so those stories probably wouldn't mean much to me, But I really like the Xenogears one... I really like it a lot.

Just wanted to tell you that. I know you don't seem to have a lot of confidence in your writing, but if thats your usual standard you really should.

See? Another one who agrees with me on the count of your writing, dear. ^^

We've been telling her that she's not as bad as she thinks she is for a while - so hopefully another voice in dissension will always help. ^_~

And a smart call with your hand, dear - don't push it if you don't have to.
26th-Dec-2003 11:14 pm (UTC)
You must play Suikoden III!

But anyway, thank you. Don't listen to Rune. ^.^

Don't listen to me? Don't listen to her! I mean, seriously - she is vastly underestimating her own skills. Its rather sad, truth be told... but she just neeeeeeever listens to me. Hmph.

We need to brainwasher her into having a most positive outlook. ^^

AIIIIIIIII!!!! This is GREAT!!! AHAHAHAHAHAH >D >D >D;;;;;;;;; I love it. Ka ka ka ka ka >D >D FLOWERSS!!!
26th-Dec-2003 11:17 pm (UTC)
Glad you like it. Poor Sasa~~

I started it in the Potions class, originally, because I love the idea of Luc irritating Snape, but that didn't work out nearly as well. ^.^

I *loved* it!!! Great work!!!
Windmills indeed.
*snort snicker*

Thanks!
That made my day!

Glad you got it! When you said you were going on a trip and you might not have internet access, I felt bad for waiting so long.

Windmills will live forever!

Ahaw, it's okay.

...Still. *beadily eyes Rune's request* ...

(///////)

Ahem! On another note, reading all these other stories has been awesome. ^_^ Kudos to you for pulling through!
26th-Dec-2003 10:55 pm (UTC)
Well, it IS fluff... and a bit more. ^^ I'm actually rather amazed that she took the request seriously.

And that she wrote it. Quite amazing. ^_^
26th-Dec-2003 11:25 pm (UTC)
... Well now. Can your eyes take it? =P

It started out as your request, actually, and it was just too easy to turn it into... more. ^^; But the lemony part is not that great, nor is it that graphic, so if you can find it, feel free to read.
26th-Dec-2003 11:32 pm (UTC)
*chuckles* Again, its really not as bad as you make it out to be, dear. ^^

And how are you posting here? I expected you to be offline for quite a while here. ^^
27th-Dec-2003 12:33 am (UTC)
Amy is cooking, so I'm keeping busy with her computer! Though it won't be a consistent thing, so don't count on frequent posts, or seeing me on Phoenix, and so on. ^^

I still can't read through that story without cringing. I'm sorry. ^^; Talk about stuff happening out of the blue. It makes sense in my mind, but not in the story. -_-;
26th-Dec-2003 11:48 pm (UTC)
Bwaha. I READ IT. >D >D >D In very good taste, it was, and the hesitation and clumsiness is somethin you almost never find in contemporary smut fanfiction... (How do you know this again, Kytha? Shhhh.)

Although there's a reason I wanted fluff. XD XD XD Much as I do love the complicated twisty turns of Sarah and Luc's possible romantic relationship, sometimes I just want to take a break from the brain-wringing to enjoy my daily cup of mindlessly mush. But then again, /that/ need is currently occupied by somewhat overenthusiastic browsing of Legolas/Gimli fanfiction (don't ask. Just don't).

But ANYway!!! As long as it's Luc/Sarah romantically involved, without bloodletting/bondage/rape*shudder*/blahblahdarkthemesblah/etc. I'm happy as a clam. And that's pretty happy.
27th-Dec-2003 12:44 am (UTC)
... Legolas/Gimli?

...................... How about Gandalf and Bill? =D =D =D

You will still get your mindless fluff, never fear. ^.^ I have an idea (thanks to Shadra, actually, since the only ideas I was getting last night involved some kind of angst), and I would like to try it out, so there will be a present for you~. And Wallwalker too. ;_; That one'll be a VP fic, and I'll have to write both on paper and type later. Many apologies~~~~~

Luc is so clueless. The idea is adorable, and stuff. I really need to rewrite it in his POV. (Someday, when I can look at it again.)

As for the rest of that... dude. Bondage? Blood-letting? Errrr. Maybe if it were Yuber and Sarah. *shudder* Eek. No.
26th-Dec-2003 10:39 pm (UTC)
I...I..I....I'm so happy~

*faints*

I was so mean to Viki. She's an angel~~

I typed yesterday a huge comment and it was eaten by the browser, because I wasn't logged in!!! ;____;
However, the wornderfull work you did on "Forgiveness" is definetly worth typing my words of appreciation again and again. ^^

I really don't know why you are so dissatisfied with your writing. Of couse, one can always do better next time and striving to improve is a good quality for an artist, but you are certainly not a bad writer. I loved the way you've set up the mood. I could very easily image the slightly chilly air Billy breathed, the grey sky (well, it's common in Germany ^^°) and the expressions of the characters during the conversation. Which I loved, too.
Well, I really love it and thank you so much for writing it! I'm very happy that I could read it, really! ^.^
27th-Dec-2003 11:38 pm (UTC)
I'm glad you liked it. That's an idea I've had in my head for a while, on and off, since I started thinking about Emeralda pairings, so it was a good opportunity to try it out. A lot of it was made up on the spot, so if it turned out well, that's definitely lucky. ^^;

Thank you.

I'd read the others, but unfortunately I haven't played or finished either game yet. *sad*

Anyway, there's no need to hurry on my account; you definitely don't want to push with an injured hand. I've done that before and it's not a good thing. -_-' I'll just have it to look forward to. *grin*
28th-Dec-2003 03:11 pm (UTC)
Blasphemy!

The nice thing about writing by hand is that I get to use my other hand. (That makes no sense, does it?) But anyway. I have an idea, so I hope I don't forget the imagery before it ends up on paper.
